Laura and David – The Vu
Laura and David had their wedding in St Patricks Church Shotts then onto The Vu in Bathgate. For those of you who don’t already know, Laura is my little sister and the leader of ‘L School Of Dance’. It was a privilege to photograph a wedding for someone so close. (yes it also saved me buying a wedding gift!). Laura was looking stunning and shes married a really great guy, David. He is a very welcome addition to the ever growing ‘McGranimal’ family.
We both grew up attending St Patrick’s church every Sunday and its always nice to take photos there. Father Brady is a true gent and everyone always loves attending his weddings. The church itself is very stunning (as you can see from the photos below) and is a classic church to get married in.
We then moved onto Bathgate’s newest wedding venue, The Vu. For those who haven’t seen it yet it really has a touch of the spectacular for your wedding photos. It is situated on a small loch on a hillside. You can walk right onto the jetty in the middle for some stunning photos and you also get a view for miles of the countryside in all directions.
After the formalities and some truly memorable speeches, in true McCue/McGrane style we had what can only be described as the party of the year (ok so im a bit biased!) with entertainment from the fantastic Miami Scotland band and a few other surprises. I cant recommend them highly enough, the dance floor was packed all night!
