Shawlands Park Hotel
This was a brilliant wedding. Claire & Eddie were married on very sunny Saturday 6th July in the Shawlands Park Hotel.
I often enjoy being the photographer so much you feel like you are there as a guest and being part of the day and this one was great.
It seems ages ago when Claire booked me to take their wedding photos. Their big day finally arrived and the sun definitely had his hat on. We first went to see the girls getting ready at Claire’s gran’s house. It’s always bedlam before the bride leaves but its really fun. Everyone is so happy and emotional and there is always lots going on with the hair stylists, beauticians and bridesmaids. Theres always lots to take pictures of and this was no different.
Once the girls gathered their emotions and looked their best we headed off to the hotel for the service and reception. The hotel is looking amazing inside since the renovations and the staff are brilliantly organised to take care of your big day.
Claire looked amazing as she came down the aisle. The service was really nice and we then piled outside to get some group photos and some shots of the couple using the hotel. The hotel looks right over the Clyde valley as you can see below and you get some really nice photos there.
The bridal party gave some very memorable speeches and everyone at the wedding provided some great moments to photograph. I left the new Mr & Mrs Steele dancing the night away with their guests.
