Karen & Barry were married in September 2013. I’ve known both of them for many years and it was great to be involved in their big day.
I went to see Karen, the bridesmaid and all the kids getting ready in the morning. You could feel the anticipation and the house was bustling. We had time for some lovely portraits by the window after Karen put on her stunning dress.
Soon after I dashed to the Calderhead Erskine Church, Shotts to get some pictures of Barry and the boys looking very smart in their kilts. The guests had begun to arrive and it wasnt long before Karen made her big entrance. She came down the aisle looking stunning. There were a few tears in the audience and Barry was looking proud as punch.
We got some lovely family photos and portraits of the new Mr & Mrs Thomson in the church grounds after the service. It was then onto the world famous Shotts Bon Accord Social Club for the evening reception. The boys gave some memorable speeches to get everyone warmed up for the big celebration.
I managed to coax everyone outside for some more photographs on the football pitch before I left everyone dancing the night away to ‘Michigan’ wedding band.
